The XL Ruby Jubilee College Day of Chevalier T. Thomas Elizabeth College for Women was held on March 7, 2025, marking four decades of empowering women through quality education, holistic development and dedicated community service. The Vice-Principal, Dr. P. J. Queency Asha Dhas welcomed the gathering and introduced the guests. The Principal of the College Dr. S. Sridevi presented the Annual Report, highlighting the college’s academic accomplishments and initiatives that foster holistic development.
The College Day Address was delivered by Dr. S. Sriman Narayanan, Vice-Chancellor of VISTAS. He praised the institution for integrating co-curricular activities with hands-on learning, ensuring that students gain both knowledge and practical experience. Mrs. K. Swarna, Associate Professor & Head of the Department of Accounting & Finance, and Dr. CMA Mercy Silvester, Associate Professor & Head of the Department of Corporate Secretaryship, were honoured for their years of dedicated service, exceptional leadership, and invaluable contributions to the institution’s academic excellence and student development.
Hon’ble Justice, Thiru. B. Gokuldas, Former Judge of Madras High Court, Chairman of C.T.T.E Trust, and Thiru. L. Palamalai I.A.S (Retd.), Managing Trustee and Correspondent C.T.T.E Trust offered their felicitations. As the finale of the 40th College Day, students who had excelled in academics, sports, and fine arts were appreciated and awarded.
