The 20th Graduation Day of SRM Valliammai Engineering College was held on 16th March, 2025, at the prestigious Dr. T. P. Ganesan Auditorium, marking the culmination of an enriching four-year academic journey. This milestone event held great significance for the graduating students as they embarked on the next phase of their professional lives.
The ceremony commenced with the traditional invocation, followed by a warm welcome from Dr. B. Chidambararajan, Director,SRMVEC. Dr. M. Murugan, Principal, presented the Graduation Day Report, highlighting the institution’s achievements and milestones.
Extending their best wishes by Ms. R. Harini, Correspondent of SRMVEC, recognized the occasion as the beginning of a promising career journey for the graduates. Ms. R. Harini delivered the presidential address offering words of encouragement and motivation for the future.
The highlight of the event was the presence of the Chief Guest, Shri. Jaishankar Damodaran, Head Trainee Hiring – BPS Tata Consultancy Services, who conferred degrees upon 626 graduates and 42 outstanding rank holders were honoured with medals and certificates for their academic excellence. In his keynote address, Shri. Jaishankar Damodaran underscored the evolving role of engineers in today’s dynamic technological landscape, emphasizing the importance of practical knowledge and its real-world applications.
The Graduation Day was a momentous occasion, celebrating both academic achievement and the promising future of the graduate.
